Christmas Lithophane Ball Ornament

How it's made

Each ornament is 3D printed in-house at the Lit Printz studio, then cleaned up, checked by hand, and packed with padding so packs and sets arrive ready to hang. Printed ornaments are lightweight and won't shatter like glass, so they're safe on trees around kids and pets. It's made to order for you, not pulled from a stockroom.

Ordering the physical print

Physical items are printed to order. Please allow about 7 business days for us to print, finish, and pack your order before it ships, plus the carrier's delivery time. Large or detailed prints can take a full day or more on the printer, and we run four printers, so every order gets real attention.

3D printing leaves fine layer lines, and colors can vary slightly from batch to batch. That's normal and part of what makes each print one of a kind. Glow-in-the-dark prints shine brightest after a few minutes under a lamp or sunlight. Silk finishes have a soft, shiny sheen that catches the light.

Care tips

Hang it on a sturdy branch with an ornament hook or a loop of ribbon, away from hot bulbs. Keep it out of direct high heat, like a sunny window, the fireplace, or a hot car, so it keeps its shape. Dust with a soft, dry cloth or a small brush. After the holidays, wrap it in tissue paper and store it somewhere cool and dry so it's ready for next year. Use only a battery LED tealight inside, never a real flame.
